An Italian-born fine art photographer. The Infinite City is a collaboration of different art forms, from illustration, model making, painting and photography - bridging the gap between traditional and contemporary forms of art.
Focal points of his work are theatre and performance, and it was during his career as a fashion photographer that he developed a talent for creating fictional worlds. He started by building and photographing miniature sets in the studio, creating scenes that one would be unable to find or recreate in the real world.
His new collection series Stories show theatrical photographs, featuring Ventura himself alongside other actors (including his son), acting out fictional scenes using painted backdrops, costumes and props.
